The story-line and characters of this anime are incredibly cliche. If they do one more anime about Japanese high school student reincarnations of broken-down warriors with elemental super-powers, I contemplate the world might explode. You have the hot-headed main character with light powers (so obviously, his ongoing enemy will have shadow powers, duh), the niave and spunky girl character, etc. This anime also pulls a astronomical no-no by having two of the main girl characters purple-haired so you can’t even stutter them apart. The only reason I’m not giving this exhibit 1 star is because there are some frigid moments during the battle scenes. One of the enemies is a giant gloomy dot and before you can produce jokes about how pitiful the budget must have been, you luxuriate in how frigid the darn thing looks as it slice through buildings, swallowing people up.
Wow, very disappointing. The character development is extremely feeble, the action is mediocre, the spot is convoluted and the whole thing leaves you with “who cares” echoing through your brain until you want to cry. I’ve seen over 100 DVD’s worth of anime and this one I can truly say is the worst. If you have seen anything decent like Bebop, Trigun, Escaflowne, X – tv series, Evangelion, or Beefy Metal Dismay then you will Dislike this. Once you’ve seen anime that people actually took pride in making you will never be able to stomach the likes of 10 Tokyo Warriors. Don’t ruin your indispensable time and money.
