In short (yeah, fair), bewitch this region. You won’t regret it.

Anyone who bought the Season One DVD is hopefully aware of what a brilliantly conceived and executed series Gargoyles is. The first season of this demonstrate introduced us to a world that, while farfetched, was also down to Earth in its setting, storytelling and central themes; a world with a diverse and enthralling cast of characters; a world that keeps you guessing impartial where things are going to lead next.

Back when I was a snot-nosed freshman in the summer of 1995 (soon to become a not-as-snot-nosed sophomore) the first 13 episodes of this exhibit had me wondering unbiased how it could possibly salvage better. Imagine my shock when, on Labor Day 1995, that request was answered. Well, to be unbiased, I was hiking that weekend, and so missed the kickoff of the second season. I actually wasn’t very connected to the internet or any sort of fan spoiled at that point in my tender youth, so I had very exiguous warning that the second season was even coming. The day after Labor Day, serve in school, or rather home from school and flipping through the channels, I accidentally stumbled across the second episode of the recent season, “Metamorphosis,” lawful as it was starting. For those who don’t know, the episode continues distinct events of the first season episode “Her Brother’s Keeper.” To this day, this episode is smooth memorable to me for several reasons, in that it displays many of the earmarks of the Gargoyles series (and one of the things that makes the display so attractive) . First, is the opinion that the account is ongoing. These characters get over time. Events in one episode carry over to the next, and sometimes, the repurcussions of what pick area in one episode can resound throughout the entire series. Like genuine life, the characters live, learn, and carry the knowledge they’ve gained with them. Which brings me to my second point. Like proper life, things don’t always waste well or are not resolved in 30 minutes. Ten years ago (this September 5th), I was absolutely terrorized by the ending to “Metamorphosis.” It took me several minutes to realize what I’d unprejudiced seen. I won’t give away any intricate details (not that I could to a Gargoyles fan), all I’ll say is the great guys don’t procure. In a sense, even the “poor guy” mild suffers a loss. And I exhaust the term in quotations because I’m coming to the third reason this series was so astonishing. This was touched upon in Season One, but becomes fleshed out more in the second season: there is no black-and-white gracious or heinous in Gargoyles. All the characters, like people in accurate life, are defined by shades of gray. Characters like Xanatos, Demona, and MacBeth might seem like enemies of the gargoyles, but they’re hardly what you would call “cliched” villains. They’re unruffled righteous of experiencing things like savor, sorrow, awe, regret, the things that produce us “human” (and as you’ll look, some of them grow to become allies of the gargoyles) .

Of course, it helps that the indicate was backed by an astonishing production staff. The plot the creative team (guided by co-creator/co-producer Greg Weisman) managed to expand upon events of the first season episodes, and actually support things intelligent. The fact that they had equally incredible vow talent also helps. Actors such as Keith David, Jonathon Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Jeff Bennett, Salli Richardson, and others far too numerous to mention here, managed to breathe life into these characters in such a draw that really opened my eyes to the power of animation.

There’s really not too worthy more to say. Except for the following. Fans of Gargoyles, you know what to do. Those of you who weren’t really diehard fans of the prove, but bought the Season One DVD (either out of curiosity or a desire to reminisce) and want to inspect how it can rep better, survey no further. And to anyone in general who wants to know why this prove has retained such an tall fanbase almost ten years after it was cancelled, here’s your chance to discover why this reveal rules (and be positive to acquire the Season One DVD as well, unbiased so you’re not entirely in the sad) .

PS: On a personal notice, it looks like this DVD, as well as the first one, is unrated. In which case, it’ll be damn favorable to hear Goliath employ the word “terrorist” again. ( ;

Finally we bag to discover Esther Williams flicks in ravishing colors and updated sound! Not that the DVD transfers are perfect, Criterion-league: there are specks and scratches from time to time, and blacks tend to bleed, particularly in the early ones (e.g. Bathing Beauty) . But what a pleasure it is to have this happy entertainement relieve, save together with care and intelligence. There’s bonus material galore, though not all of it dealing with the star.

Included in the Bathing Beauty disc is a huge interview Ms. Williams did with Robert Osborne for Turner Classic Movies. Ms. Williams comes across as somebody who has always been level headed, with a realistic notion of life, aware of alternatives and skeptical of show-biz, always marveled at her proper fortune (wondering when it would slay), with the self-assurance gained from awareness of her personal worth. Nothing delusional there: underneath the Hollywood glamour, throughout her career and beyond, she has retained the mindset and integrity of a committed, champion athlete, i.e., it’s the hard work, constancy and achievement that count, not the glitz or the noise (she was slated to participate in the 1940 Olympics had WWII not interfered) . All these personal qualities advance across in her films, and probably made her a star, fresh in her genre. Before, during and after, there was no other. Though she was a pleasing craftsman and learned her trade well as an actress, she really only played one character, Esther Williams. Audiences flocked to “Esther Williams movies,” with all fantasy such would entail (of course, production values count) . It is difficult not to feel that she’d be a sizable friend to have. During the interview Robert Osborne can barely maintain his delight.

Suspend disbelief, honest relish. I hope we don’t have to wait as long for Volume 2, which would include Million Dollar Mermaid and Easy to Treasure.

For fans, I would also recommend reading her down-to-earth autobiography.

Seriously…when I contemplate of actors / actresses who are L-O-N-G overdue for the DVD treatment, Esther Williams is at the top of the list. Kudos to TCM for putting 5 of Ms. Williams’ incredible films…including my all-time well-liked “On An Island With You”…in an affordable box status. I’m determined Volume 2 will be greeted with equal enthusiasm by her fans and I know I’ll pre-order it the cramped it’s available.

So what’s the astronomical deal? Aside from the legendary aquatics and the intricately choreographed numbers, the films of Esther Williams are key examples of “They Don’t Get Movies Like That Anymore” movies. They don’t, and they can’t, because the world is really a different location. The simplicity and innocence and sweetness are qualities that exist in a readically different manufacture in 2007.

If your opinion of cinematic romance is Tom Skim telling Renée Zellweger that she “completes” him, or Renée telling Tom that he “had her at hello,” these might not be the correct films for you. They’re more geniune, more fair, and warmer. They characterize the absolute best that MGM had to offer.

While “On An Island With You” may not be Ms. Williams’ signature film, it has all of the elements that made her films enormous. Ricardo Montalban, dressed in bulky navy uniform, strumming a guitar under a tropical tree and crooning the opening theme as Esther swims in a shady lagoon? Genius! The four-way, star-crossed lovers subplot featuring Williams, Montalban, Peter Lawford and Cyd Charisse? The Montalban / Charisse dance number? Jimmy Durante and Xavier Cugat? What’s NOT to like in this movie?

The other four films are unbiased as capable, but “Island” is a personal common.

Thanks to TCM. Can’t wait to perceive which films are included in Volume 2.

Naruto Shippuden is a runt different from the early Naruto years. But it is high octane adrenaline! Gaara totally steals the exhibit. The action and chronicle line arc takes up to 30 episodes before Sai comes into the portray. The only dissappointment I feel is in Viz Media, why are they bothering to release Shippuden 1 disc (4 episodes) at a time? They should go directly to box sets! And by box sets I mean, they should carry at least 20 episodes or more per station. Shipuden season 1 is like 50 or more episodes, each season is substantial! Viz Media, why must you milk us of our hard earned money and give us so minute in return?! Anyone who buys this disc or the next disc in this series, I suggest you possess off watching them until you have them all up to disc 10 in hand, these episodes collect you and never let you go, you will writhe in agony until the next release!

Finally the big Naruto Uzumaki has returned from his three year training with the toad memoir and the unusual quests will initiate, a limited off topic while I have enjoyed the anime series including the filler episodes the fresh Naruto manga chapters have really started to invent me abominate the device the writers and creator are doing the series so remarkable that if it continues I have a feeling that they may loose many fans, I know I’m at the line at this point of giving up on the manga series suitable now. That out of the scheme the first episodes are a honest joy as you’ll witness Naruto reuniting with not only Tsunade, Iruka, and his sensei Kakashi but will also search for how the rest of the Konoha 11 have turned out after three years away. The episodes will also explain us what has been happening with the mysterious group Akatsuki and what they have been doing these last few years as well with their unknown agenda of capturing the containers of the tailed demon beasts. So if your not a fan of the filler episodes or fair looking for a action anime here’s a fine sterling recall for your collection…

Ah the 1980s, a period of mountainous music, questionable fashion, and unrivaled fascinating series succession. Animation insiders are mercurial to point out that the early to mid 80s were a time of uncertainty thanks to organizations that insisted that most all cartoons were merely cleverly disguised advertisements designed to push toy-lines and yet its tough to argue the success of programs such as He-Man and the masters of the Universe, Thundercats, Transformers, and G.I. Joe. As a kid of the era, I wasn’t complaining; after all, the cartoons were large source material for the action to continue in toy-form. Disguised advertisements or the inspiration for hours of imaginative play? Blurred is the line. But I digress. The reason you are likely reading this is to ascertain a better feel for Warner Brothers’ novel DVD release of the 1986 hit cartoon series Silver Hawks.

Buy,Download, Or Stream SilverHawks, Vol. 1! Click Here

From Rankin Bass, the individuals responsible for the wildly accepted Thundercats series, Silverhawks was created to act as a follow-up with a slightly different dynamic and setting without straying too far from the animorphic roots that made its predecessor so successful. To commence with a confession, let me residence for the report that I was not a fan of the note when it was modern and nor did I have any of the corresponding toy line. Memory fades as to what series managed to distract me directly but I’m leaning toward Transformers or G.I. Joe. I did however manage to accumulate it on a rare occasion of channel surfing (after all, we did have only four to chose from at the time) and I consume thinking that it was similar in gaze and feel to Thundercats (a display that I did like greatly) .

Looking succor there were a few things that didn’t sit proper relieve then and serene manage to cause a cringe even now: For one thing the tagline “Partly Metal and Partly True” never sounded quite correct to me. Of course it was easily dismissed at age ten but these days I’ve approach to realize that the runt scientist in me must have been offended by its suggestion that metal is, for whatever reason, not precise. Perhaps partly metal and partly human would have been a more scientifically factual wording or, and yes I know kids would have really hated this one: “Partly metallic while composed maintaining biological characteristics” would have trumped them all.

Buy,Download, Or Stream SilverHawks, Vol. 1! Click Here

Anyway, taglines aside, the prove may have shared its animation quality and order actors with Thundercats, the steady structure was a bit askew as well. Doing away with all of the recent fantasy elements that Thundercats brought to the table, Silverhawks focused a bit more on the science fiction side of things (even if the science was continually overrun by the fiction) . Our heroes are, for lack of a better term, cyborg cops sent into location to do battle with a gang of intergalactic villainous mobsters. Even if we pick that at face value (and even some Trekkies may have a hard time swallowing that one), there was nothing particularly exciting about the abundant cast on both sides of the coin. The gruff leader of the helpful guys was a Telly Savalas wannabe with some gold plating and a robot lens/ stare occupying half of his baldhead. Below him was perhaps the most generic edifying guy in the history of exciting television in the build of the one-dimensional QuickSilver, a guitar-wielding, mohawk-sporting colonial Bluegrass, the male & female twin duo of Steelheart and Steelwill, and a coppery colored tranquil alien youngster creatively named The Copper Kid. Okay so maybe I’m exaggerating a bit- Copper Kid could communicate with a irregular combination of English buried beneath a digital achieve with some whistling thrown in for respectable measure.

The unpleasant guys had a lot of potential that was, sadly, lost to either the restrictions of children’s programming of the time or a simple overload of the production staff as it was later admitted that Silverhawks was actually sold into 65 episode syndication before the first episode of Thundercats even aired (a display that would go on to rush a whopping 130 episodes itself) .

The show’s producers realized that if it wasn’t broken, no need for repairs and kept the villain formula very halt to its Thundercats baddies counterparts (Mon-Star’s transformation bit, for example, is not at all unlike Mum-Ra’s) . Unfortunately worthy of the cast is completely devoid of any sense of personality. Choose for example the intimating mechanical humanoid bull, Mumbo Jumbo, or the robotic assassin Buzzsaw- unlimited potential, dreadful on-screen presence. These examples may actually topple into the rare category of toys being far cooler than the enchanting characters they attempt to emulate.

Cast aside, the myth structure was usually quite basic: Mon-Star hatches up some ridiculous plot to conquer the galaxy, the Silverhawks come by wind of it and thwart his efforts without any dependable violence or confrontation to relate of. Each and every location basically ends the same with the villains escaping to intention up their next deplorable ambition while the heroes laugh off their folly in failing to glean the job done. This is especially disappointing considering the very first episode (Origin Memoir) actually opens with some potential as Mon-Star has been apparently imprisoned for his crimes on the Penal Planet only to become exposed to the radiation that not only transforms him but allows him to rupture out (and recall his buddies with him) . Unfortunately, this bit of space potential fades out immediately after and returns only momentarily in Episode 7, The Backroom.

For the most allotment the tale falls victim to many of the same pitfalls and shortcomings that plagued earlier shows like Superfriends and Filmation’s Masters of the Universe: One-dimensional characters, plots simplified to the lowest possible degree, wacky weapons (a guitar that jams lethal music notes and a corresponding key-tar wielding female) . Side note: For those of you either too young to remember (or venerable enough but blocked the memory out), a key-tar is a synthesizer that was traditional over the shoulder and played like a guitar so that keyboard geeks could earn the kind of recognition usually reserved for the lead guitarist. If nothing else the 80s was a period that prided itself on looking out for the nerds in society.

Perhaps the biggest deviation from the Thundercats formula, however, would have to be the setting itself. Yes the eternal splendid versus awful (or in this case cops versus mobsters) takes situation almost entirely in position. While this may have sounded bewitching to the show’s writers at the time considering the fact that plot is infinite and all, in actuality it doesn’t work very well at all on camouflage (a lesson Kevin Costner would learn powerful later on in filming his narrative failure Waterworld) . Inspect it turns out that the backdrop for the action is, in many instances, as essential as the action itself. Suffice to say, constant battles over a the drab background of status (blackness and stars) never really captivates the viewer the device a canyon battle or romp through the fortress like Thundercats did (even if the show’s artists did try to employ a lot of blue paint in attempt to shatter up the monotony of status) .

Worse level-headed is that the physics of dwelling are inconsistent and downright wrong about 95% of the time. A crime that could be forgivable in children’s animation if not for the closing of each episode with a question for the viewer about events and apt science of our solar system. I can impartial imagine what Dr. William A. Gutsch Jr. of the Hayden Planetarium (who provided the scientific Q&A for the indicate) must have idea at the near-constant depictions of humans soaring through the vacuum of place without helmets, planets being a stone’s throw apart, or heinous plot mobsters cruising around in convertibles (top down, solar wind blowing through their hair) . Perhaps it’s better that we don’t know his proper sentiments after all!

If you’ve gotten this far and mediate that I’m being mercilessly cruel to what was ultimately intended to be righteous super fun for kids, I’m objective having some fun with it. Having impartial dropped $30 on this four-disc DVD compilation myself, I would have been sorely inaccurate had I expected purchasing the equivalent of The Discovery Channel’s Greatest Moments in intelligent acquire. This is mindless entertainment from a simpler time when children (well, most of them anyway) didn’t concern about the nuances of science or physics. Partly metal, partly genuine, all that mattered was that they battled rank while your Pop Tarts were level-headed warm.

Enclosed in this compilation are four discs containing the first 32 episodes of the point to. Three of the four absorb unusual disc art while the fourth is dual sided to effect room for a sweet microscopic documentary/ commentary on how our metal friends came into existence and why they worked well as toys.

If you happen to be an astrophysicist looking for some conversation starters with the guys at work, perhaps you should spy elsewhere. For nearly everyone else, this is cleverly disguised toy advertising at its best and the stuff of nostalgic induced dreams.

Soar with the Silverhawks on wings of silver and nerves of steel against the foul Mon*Star and his mob in Silverhawks – Volume One. Though not as successful as Thundercats (the point to lasted unbiased one season), Silverhawks, featuring the same production team and jabber talent as Thundercats proved arguably unprejudiced as current. Richard Basehart and David Hedison dependably give their (by now) conventional solid performances especially with the strong record material that these two series stars have to work with throughout this banner second year making it a edifying follow up to the gloriously triumphant first season.

Among the more remarkable efforts demonstrate in the VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA – SECOND SEASON, VOLUME ONE 3-disc box site are “Jonah and the Whale,” “Time Bomb,” “…And Five of Us Are Left,” “The Cyborg,” “The Left-Handed Man,” “The Deadliest Game,” “Leviathan,” “The Peacemaker,” “The Mute Saboteurs” and “The Machines Strike Support.”

This extrarordinary DVD plot will be comprised of the first 13 colour hour long segments from VOYAGE’s second season (1965-66) that includes:

02) “Time Bomb” (26/09/1965)

04) “The Cyborg” (10/10/1965)

The supplemental bonus material contains 20 minutes of revealing behind-the-scenes Special Effects test film footage some of which was likely earlier previewed in the VOYAGE segment of the 1995 THE FANTASY WORLDS OF IRWIN ALLEN tv documentary special.

An additional treat is that the fresh season’s premiere episode “Jonah and the Whale” is endowed with a completely different opening and closing titles theme music calm by the gradual Jerry Goldsmith which was ragged specifically as such for this segment but further effectively employed as evocative background scoring for subsequent episodes of the second year as well.

As with the previous first season volumes one and two DVD sets the video transfers utilized are also similarily taken from the recent vault stored pristine 35mm colour film source elements fully restored and digitally remastered in high definition for optimum recount and sound quality.

For those VOYAGE fans who have been anxiously anticipating these splendidly produced colour presentations from the series’ rupture hit second season this particular DVD collection should indicate to be well worth the wait and a marvellous continuation to the outstanding first season adventures further chronicling the interesting, considerable underwater exploits (site during the not-too-distant future in the mid to tedious 1970s) of the Earth’s final titanic frontier with Admiral Harriman Nelson, Captain Lee Crane and the stalwartly heroic crew of the SSRN Seaview in one of the most favorite and best remembered SF tv shows of the 1960s. Primetime network series television has seldom been done better than it was here.

Jeff T.

Honey & Clover follows the lives of five students studying at an art college in Tokyo. The series follows their lives through their college years as they tumble in treasure, score their first jobs, and quiz their purpose in life. I guess you can say that Honey and Clover is extraordinarily ordinary. Although in many ways that is what makes this series so special. If you were ever a college student (art college or otherwise) you will rep it very easy to portray to the sage Honey & Clover is telling.

The characters in Honey & Clover can be a bit quirky and eccentric yet they peaceful all seem very genuine. It is especially easy to recount to the main protagonist Takemoto who is probably the most ordinary of the bunch and a perfect representation of an average college student.

Honey & Clover also boasts a tall soundtrack with insert songs from Spitz & Suga Shikao extinct throughout the series. The art & character designs have a dreamlike and water color finish. Special eye should also be given to the opening sequence which uses cessation motion animation & food for a very fresh and memorable accomplish.

To achieve Honey and Clover is sometimes hilarious, sometimes it is unlit. In that blueprint it reflects the ups and downs of exact life. If you are looking for an anime series that is radiant, thoughtful & real I cannot recommend this one enough.

Most anime is aimed at either a teenage or preteen audience. Honey and Clover is a rare anime targeted at adult women that guys should also relish – indeed, it will be appreciated most by those who have completed at least a year of college.

Our narrator is Yuta Takemoto, a sensitive young man slogging his map through his second year at a visual arts college as the series begins. Under the guidance of his well-liked professor at the school, Shuji Hanamoto, Yuta makes his design along with his friends: his fellow architectural student Takumi Mayama, who’s fallen in care for with the young widow of Shuji’s best friend; potter Ayumi Yamada, who in turn is in unrequieted worship with Takumi; very eccentric computer graphics designer Shinobu Morita and, finally, Shuji’s dinky cousin Hagumi “Hagu” Hanamoto – a painter/sculptor who will have a profound conclude on both Yuta and Shinobu.

There are a few problems with the two female leads – Ayumi often becomes the dispenser of extinct anime slapstick humor, and more importantly a huge chance to realistically depict life for short people is lost on Hagu, who has a disturbing lack of self-reliance with a somewhat shaky explanation. But for the most fraction, Honey and Clover brilliantly covers almost all aspects of college life, from freshmen experiencing their first bouts of homesickness to seniors stressing over finding their first jobs and everything in between – like learning how to handle alcohol without adult supervision and the dejection of often living on ramen and working your tail off to pay your dues without any financial reward yet. There are also some very comic moments – especially a famous game of Twister that will probably leap to the top 10 funniest list of many.

There are precious few josei anime in the North American market. Honey and Clover is generally considered one of the best, and if josei is your demographic, it belongs in your collection.

I don’t know about the rest of the MJ fans in the world, but I am really frustrated with Amazon listing all of these MJ DVDs and products that don’t divulge us what we are buying, yet they seek information from us to plunk down our hard-earned cash fair because it has “Michael Jackson” in the title? What interviews will be on these DVDs? I feel elegant confident in saying that MJ fans will NOT want to be buying any product that supports Martin Bashir and his “documentary” which was nothing but salicious lies about MJ and his life at Neverland. Or, how about the “MJ Megabox” with a report of him painted with a clown face. There is no product description for that either, yet Amazon expects us to blindly purchase it because we adore MJ? I would like to have more of MJ on film, but not if it means putting money into the pockets of the people that killed him. And with all of these “MJ products” coming out “every day” how can we know if it is something MJ common of before he passed or that his estate approves of and profits from; or if it is unprejudiced another person or company jumping on the disgusting bandwagon of bloodsucking leeches that want to get a fleet buck off the death of MJ?

I have made the mistake in the past of blindly pre-ordering a couple of Michael Jackson videos without there being any customer reviews and was very disappointed by the merchandise in request.

They were both detestable with generic music playing in the background, and they were both almost copycat videos of each other. What a titanic destroy of money.

It seems like people are coming out of the woodwork to capitalize on his death, and his devoted fans are looking to occupy anything objective to enjoy onto him a microscopic while longer because we are all tranquil in mourning over him.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Michael Jackson: The Interviews, Vol. 1! Click Here

I won’t manufacture that mistake again. I want to remember him and his words, not the things other people said about him, and though I am very animated to know what these interview videos are all about, I will also wait until people post some reviews before I extinguish more money on garbage.

By the procedure, the videos that ended up being a total demolish of money were Michael Jackson “Never Surrender” and “A Considerable Life.” Don’t throw your money away. They were both very cheap and poorly done.

Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky of Dexter’s Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, and Samurai Jack fame, this series of 20, 3 miniature shorts was created to bridge the gap in epic between Episodes 2 and 3 of the Star Wars prequels. This is vol. 1 of a 2 vol. series; the second will be in a slightly different format (15 limited episodes) and will animate the opening scrawling text of Episode 3. These shorts, though brief, are a lot closer to what the fans have expected out of the prequel films but haven’t gotten. There is a lot of action and the characters, for the most section, are worthy better realized than in the films. In fact, there is more character development in fair the one 4 second scene between Anakin and Amadala in this series then there is in the entire second Star Wars prequel. Lucas gave Tartakovsky reign to screech unique stories for this series and he has chosen to focus on the various Jedi and their skills, something the films generally lack. Once again, we learn more about Mace Windu and the entire order of the Jedi through these 3-minute shorts than we do in the hours of Prequel footage released so far. What’s really nice about this DVD is that the shorts have been edited into one 69-minute feature that helps withhold the yarn noteworthy tighter than when they aired on the cartoon network, broken up into 3-minute chunks. The extras are nice as well, though fair as short as the fresh cartoons were. All in all, between this volume and the next currently in production, I assume these cartoons will eventually come by their scheme to becoming allotment of the Star Wars film series and not impartial a diversion from it.

I’m a huge nerd.

I don’t want to be mad about Star Wars Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, I really don’t. Lucas’ last two movies have dulled what was a knowing region of my childhood.

So why am I watching the dilapidated movies (yes, even Episodes I & II), reading Labyrinth of Deplorable and playing Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy?

Somehow excitement about Star Wars stuff is fair hard-wired into me, no matter how considerable Jar Jar you throw in.

Thankfully, Genndy Tartakovsky and crew have given me a modern hope (pun intended) with the beautifully conceived Clone Wars, Vol. 1.

Airing originally on Cartoon Network and bridging Episodes II & III, Tartakovsky’s interesting shorts have the goods. Twenty episodes follow Anakin, Obi-Wan and a host of other Jedi as they wage the long awaited Clone Wars.

There’s plenty to sustain Star Wars aficionados gratified. Memorable quotes include a few “I’ve got a poor feeling about this” and a nice homage to Vader with Anakin commenting “I have you now” with an enemy in his ship’s sites. I’d have loved to have seen a nice stormtrooper head bumping, but what are you gonna do.

The episodes that impressed me most included the Kit Fisto underwater battle (this makes Aquaman gape like a punk), the Mace Windu sequence (although I could have done without the doe-eyed anime child onlooker), and the hissing lightsaber duel in the rain between Anakin and Asajj Ventress.

George, buddy, recall a cue from Clone Wars! Less political wrangling about separatists and more cold stuff like this that made Star Wars enormous in the first situation.

(BTW, check out the latest episodes on Cartoon Network and at StarWars.com. You regain to seek C3PO showing off his unusual bod!)
